Description
This is a World War II worker identification badge for the Bethlehem Steel Company's shipyards in Boston, Massachusetts. The oval-shaped badge is by Whitehead & Hoag. The badge has a photograph of the employee and is labeled DB 32Although his name is not listed on the badge, this belonged to Salvatore Mandile. VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-3/8' in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, celluloid, paper.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The badge shows some small spots of light wear and oxidation with some bubbling to the celluloid.
