This is a World War II launching crew badge for the Bethlehem Steel Company's shipyard in Hingham, Massachusetts. The yard operated for five years beginning in 1940. This badge is in green celluloid and is numbered 151.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped paper on tin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The badge has some spots of oxidation on reverse with some light abrasions to the celluloid.
