This is a World War II theatre-made United States Army 5th Division patch-type DI. The DI is a brilliant crimson red diamond.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with round saddle.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX07 LCEX10/10 SCEX03/19
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): DI shows some light to medium abrasions on the enamel and a light tarnish.
