This is a circa late World War II patch - type distinctive insignia for the United States Army 2nd Cavalry Division.
The insignia shows a pair of blue eight-pointed stars above a blue chevron, all against a field of gold.
VINTAGE:
Circa late World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.
