WWII Submarine Launch Tag for the USS Cutlass SS-478

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II submarine launch tag for the USS Cutlass SS-478, launched November 5, 1944 at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard. Cutlass began her first war patrol and entered the Kurile Islands area one day after the Japanese surrender. Only one left!

VINTAGE:

Circa 1944.

SIZE:

About 1-3/4 in width by 2-1/8" in height.

Foiled card stock.
