This is a World War II submarine launch tag for the USS Torsk SS-423, launched from the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard on September 6, 194Now the Maryland Submarine Memorial in Baltimore, the Torsk earned two battle stars for her World War II service.
VINTAGE:Circa 1944.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4 in width and 5-1/4" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed silk.
