ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure IV Class Footlocker Find.

VINTAGE: World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/4" in height Ribbon: 1-7/8" in width x 1-5/8" in height Medal: 1-5/8" in height x 1-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver, silk ribbon, brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Hook with "U" hasp.

MARKINGS: Japanese characters on reverse. "勲功栓章" KUN-KO-SEN-SYO: Merit Medal.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Japanese militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEAX19 LAGEX07/31/22

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The medal has light to medium tarnishing and some very small spots of enamel have been chipped.
