WWII Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure 8th Class Medal with Lapel Stud

This is a World War II Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure 8th Class medal hanging from a pale green and golden ribbon with matching lapel stud showing a golden "Y". The honor is awarded for longtime faithful service and was established in 1888.

Circa World War II.

Medal is about 1-5/16" in width by 3" in height; stud is about 1/2" in diameter.

Silver with silk ribbon.

Hook with"U" hasp; suspension ring; lapel stud.
