ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure, 4th – 6th Class. The honor is awarded for longtime faithful service and was established in 1888. The medallion has white enameled rays ornamented by a red glass center and a mirror at its center. The medal does not have a ribbon.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in height (including ring) and 1-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension ring.

MARKINGS: Characters on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: The medal you receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a WWII Japanese medal collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MFJX14 LAFEX2/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The medal has only some light wear/tarnish.
