WWII Greater Boston United Service Organizations (USO) Pin in Sterling

This is a World War II Greater Boston United Service Organizations (USO) pin in sterling silver. The USO was formed in 1941 by the Roosevelt Administration to provide recreational activities and morale in general to troops. The pin is a blue rectangular bar with alternating blue and white stripes at either end.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 3/8" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

Sterling silver with enamel.

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
