ARTIFACT: This is a World War II USO (United Service Organizations) badge made in gilt sterling silver. The USO is a service organization founded in 1941 to provide live entertainment to troops known as "Camp Shows." The goal was to boost morale of the servicemen and women, which worked as the USO is still in operation to this day.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Appr: 7/8" x 1"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Sterling Silver

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch
