This is a sterling silver World War II United Service Organizations (USO) volunteer badge. The USO was formed in 1941 by the Roosevelt Administration to provide recreational activities and morale in general to troops.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 9/16" in height and 11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated sterling silver with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:G/S.
