ARTIFACT: This is a gilt sterling silver World War II United Service Organizations (USO) badge in the shape of the letters U, S and O. The USO was formed in 1941 by the Roosevelt Administration to provide recreational activities and morale in general to troops.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1/2" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Home Front collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX02 LDJX10/10

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Pin shows some medium abrasions.
