WWII USO (United Service Organizations) Badge in Gilt Sterling Silver

This is a World War II United Service Organizations (USO) badge in gilt sterling silver. The USO was formed in 1941 by the Roosevelt Administration to provide recreational activities and morale in general to troops. The badge shows an entwined USO monogram in block lettering.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 7/8" in height and 1" in width.

Gilt sterling silver.

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
