Description
This is a Czechoslovakian "high ear" Mauser bayonet from the German Occupation period of World War II (1939-1945). The "high ear" design refers to the U-shaped part where the bayonet rests against the barrel.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II German Occupation period of Czechoslovakia (1939-1945).
SIZE:Bayonet: approximately 17" in length and 1-5/8" in width; blade only: approximately 11-3/4" in length and 7/8" in width; scabbard only: approximately 12-1/4" in length and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Steel, wood.
ATTACHMENT:Frog.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The bayonet has some areas of moderate wear and tarnish; scabbard has some minor oxidation and a slight dent.
