Unissued M-6 Bayonet in M-8A1 Scabbard

This is an unissued circa early 1960s M-6 bayonet. The bayonet is sheathed in an M-8A1 scabbard.

Circa early 1960s.

Approximately 12-1/2" in length and 2-7/8" in width at widest part (sheathed); lace about 42" in length total.

Steel, hard resin plastic, cotton, nickel; scabbard: cast resin with woven fiber for structure; cotton lace.

Clip, snap on scabbard strap, eyelet in bottom of scabbard, lace.

7+ (Very Fine+): The bayonet and sheath show some light wear and very limited, small spots of oxidation.
