This is a World War II Ford Plant Protector Police badge for the Aircraft Engineering Division (AED) numbered 18The badge is made by Hanson of Chicago.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/8" in height and 1-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:THE C.M. HANSON CO. CHICAGO.
