ARTIFACT: This is a Rare 1930's - World War II EDO Aircraft Corporation Police Captain Badge. 

EDO: Earl Dodge Osborn, founder of the Company.
Earl Dodge Osborn founded the Edo Aircraft Corporation in 1925. The company's first successful product line was pontoons for floatplanes. With the outbreak of World War II, the company's focus shifted, and EDO began to provide subassemblies for military aircraft.

VINTAGE: 1930s - World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-3/16" in height x 1-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in locking catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCFM22 LFGEX05/25/23

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The badge shows little to minor wear, overall, it is in excellent condition.
