This is a World War II Bell Aircraft Plant Police hat and breast badge set. A prolific aircraft manufacturer,
Bell became most known for producing the first supersonic aircraft, the Bell X-1.
VINTAGE:
Circa WWII.
SIZE:Hat badge: About 2" in width by 2-1/2" in height; Breast badge: About 2-1/4" in width by 3-1/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Hat badge: single screw post; Breast badge: Vertical kick-pin with a "C" catch.
MARKINGS:None.
