This is a World War II temporary plant access badge for Bell Aircraft Corporation. A prolific aircraft manufacturer, Bell became most known for producing the first supersonic aircraft, the Bell X-The badge is by Bastian Brothers and is numbered A696.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:BASTIAN BROS. ROCHESTER and union mark (on bottom edge).

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows little wear, and what wear there is is mostly on reverse.
