This is a World War II Bell Aircraft worker identification badge. A prolific aircraft manufacturer, Bell became most known for producing the first supersonic aircraft, the Bell X-The badge is by Bastian Brothers of Rochester, New York, and was originally worn by H.M. Green.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass, painted areas, paper, celluloid.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:BASTIAN BROS. CO. ROCHESTER N.Y.
