ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Bell Aircraft Corporation factory temporary pass badge by Bastian brothers of Rochester, New York. A prolific aircraft manufacturer, Bell became most known for producing the first supersonic aircraft, the Bell X-1. The yellow oval badge has a worn but still lightly visible "T" at center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: BASTAIN BROS. CO. ROCHESTER N.Y. along edge

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge has only some areas of moderate wear and tarnish on reverse.
