This is a World War II North American Aviation Inc. (NAA) factory worker or temporary ID/pass badge. NAA began manufacturing aircraft in 1928, and is credited with several important models such as the F-86 Sabre jet, the B-25 Mitchell bomber and the P-51 Mustang fighter. The badge is numbered 8.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
