This is a World War II Bell Aircraft Corporation plant access badge for a United States Army Corps technical representative. A prolific aircraft manufacturer, Bell became most known for producing the first supersonic aircraft, the Bell X-The badge is by Bastian Brothers and is numbered 57.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, clear celluloid, paper.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
