ARTIFACT: This is a fabulous early World War II United States Air Corps representative badge for Pan Am/Ferry Command and Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Company. The pin is dated January 1942 on the paper insert at center and the pilot's name is handwritten on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid, tin, paper insert, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: W&H CO. NEWARK, N.J. PAT. OCT. 15 1929 and UDALHOFEN printed on reverse of tag.
