ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces Air Corps Ferrying Command jacket patch. 

The patch shows an aircraft sailing past the globe and displays different colored bars in code around the border. 
The patch is gold rather than silver, denoting its origin in an early period of the war.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: 2-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: N/A.
