Description
This is a World War II plant access badge for the Buffalo, New York division of Curtiss-Wright Corporation. Curtiss-Wright closed out World War II with the distinction of producing the most aircraft of any other American company. The badge is by Whitehead & Hoag and reads QUALITY SELECTIVE SERVICE REP. 61 at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickeled brass, clear celluloid, paper.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:WHITEHEAD HOAG.
