ARTIFACT: This is a World War II plant access badge for the Buffalo, New York division of Curtiss-Wright Corporation. Curtiss-Wright closed out World War II with the distinction of producing the most aircraft of any other American company. The badge is by Whitehead & Hoag and reads QUALITY SELECTIVE SERVICE REP. 61 at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickeled brass, clear celluloid, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: WHITEHEAD HOAG.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PBEX13 LGEX5/13 SGEX8/13

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The badge has some medium wear and tarnish with some bubbling to the celluloid.
