This is a World War II era Imperial Japan Order of the Rising Sun, 8th Class medal.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/8" in height x 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver, silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:Hanger, suspension ring.
MARKINGS:"勲功旌章" read, "KUN KOU SEI SYO" meaning "Praise achievements".

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The badge shows minor to little wear, overall very fine condition.
