This is a World War II British War Relief Society (BWRS) Royal Air Force lapel wing. In 1941, the umbrella organization BWRS was created to coordinate the efforts of the many grassroots groups in the United States already in existence providing aid for the British people.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 7/16" in height and 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass with painted areas.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
