Small WWII British War Relief Society (BWRS) Celluloid Donation Pin

This is a World War II donation pin for the British War Relief Society (BWRS). In 1941, the umbrella organization BWRS was created to coordinate the efforts of the many grassroots groups in the United States already in existence providing aid for the British people. The pin is a blue, white and red bull's-eye with a crown topping the center and the letters BWRS.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 5/8" in diameter.

Celluloid-wrapped tin, brass pin.

Straight pin.
