This is a circa World War I United States Army Model 1917 trench fighting knife. This "knuckle" knife is dated 1917 and is by Landers, Frary & Clark (L. F. & C). The knife does not come with a scabbard.
VINTAGE:Circa 1917
SIZE:Knife: approximately 14" in length and 4" in width; blade only: approximately 8-3/4" in length and 1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Steel and wood.
