ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War I United States Army Model 1917 trench fighting knife. This "knuckle" knife is dated 1917 and is by Landers, Frary & Clark (L. F. & C). The knife does not come with a scabbard. This knife came to us in the company of a few other items, all of which are listed separately for sale (please see links at bottom of page).

VINTAGE: Circa 1917.

SIZE: Knife: approximately 14" in length and 4" in width; blade only: approximately 8-3/4" in length and 1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Steel, wood.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: U.S. L.F.&C. (Landers, Frary & Clark) 1917.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX13 LCGEX1/13 TRBJJX8/14

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The dagger shows some light to medium wear and oxidation.
