ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War I scabbard throat for the United States Army Model 1917 trench fighting knife. This throat came to us in the company of a few other items, all of which are listed separately for sale (please see links at bottom of page).

VINTAGE: Circa 1917.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/8" in height and 2-11/16" in width (about 1" in diameter).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Iron.

ATTACHMENT: Bracket hanger, brads.

MARKINGS: M6.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VBEX13 LADEX1/13 SeAEEX7/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The throat shows moderate wear and oxidation.
