WWI US Army Engineer Pocket Compass USANITE Dated 1918 by Taylor of Rochester, New York

This is a great circa World War I United States Army engineer pocket compass in excellent condition. It is a USANITE model by Taylor of Rochester, New York, and was patented in 191The cover of the compass is engraved with a 1918 date and ENG. DEPT. U.S.A.

Circa 1918 (World War I).

Approximately 1-3/4" in width and 2-9/16" in height and 1/2" in thickness.

Solid nickel case, painted steel face.

Suspension loop, hinged case. The compass is opened by depressing the handle.
