ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II US Army TAYLOR MODEL Wrist Compass As Worn on D-Day by Paratroopers.

VINTAGE:

World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/8" in height x 2-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Bakelite (Brown), clear plastic, fluid, and nickel with a leather strap.

ATTACHMENT:

Leather wrist band with buckle.

7 (Very Fine): The compass shows minor wear. Original leather Band is Supple & not crocked. Liquid has long ago evaporated.
