This is a real World War II United States Army D-Day paratrooper badge made by the English company J.R. Gaunt. The wing is a parachute with a pair of spread wings.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal Y pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:J.R. GAUNT LONDON.
