ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1910 United States Army officer hat badge made in England. The reverse of the badge has an early J.R. Gaunt dragon's head maker mark. The badge is slightly convex and has a great "look".

VINTAGE: Circa 1910.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 1-15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization posts.

MARKINGS: ENGLAND; J.R. Gaunt dragon" TRADE MARK" maker mark.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a pre-WWI United States Army officer hat badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX13 LHEX11/13 SGJX3/14

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge has areas of moderate wear and tarnish; some oxidation on reverse.
