WWI US Air Service Pilot Wing In Shreve Style

This is a great example of a well-used, probably battle-worn WWI United States Air Service Pilot Wing in the Shreve Style. Although I do not believe it to be made by the Shreve firm.

Circa WWI.

About 3-1/4" in width by 1" in height

Sterling silver.

Horizontal pin with a "drop-in" locking catch.

Sterling. "Dutton" is scratched on the back, perhaps the name of the original pilot who wore the wing.
