This is a Rare and Iconic WWI US Air Service Pilot / Junior Military Aviator Wing by SHREVE & CO of San Francisco California. This is the classic, Iconic Shreve wing. Condition is excellent, although tarnish is a bit dark.
VINTAGE:Circa 1917 - 1918, WWI.
SIZE:Approximately: 3-15/16" in length by 7/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with 14K gold "US".
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with a drop-in locking catch.
