ARTIFACT: This is a rare and beautiful United States Air Service pilot wing by Johnson Manufacturing Company, makers of the Tiffany wing.

VINTAGE: Circa WWI.

SIZE: 3".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with tongue clasp (period replacement of clasp).

MARKINGS: "JOHNSON MFG. CO., 14 CHURCH ST. N.Y. ,STERLING" maker's mark on reverse.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Very rare wing with light tarnish and no wear, clasp replaced.
