Wonderful 18th Century Night Watchman's Alarm Bell

This is a wonderful circa eighteenth century night watchman's alarm bell, most likely from Massachusetts. It is in bronze with an iron handle. It is of simple construction with a single bead line. The clapper makes a strong and resonant tone.

Circa 18th century.

Approximately 12-1/2" in height and 6-3/8" in diameter (at base).

Bronze, iron.

Chain on clapper.
