Wonderful, Huge 18th C. Iron Key, Perhaps to a Treasure Chest!

This is a wonderful and huge circa eighteenth century iron key. Perhaps it was for unlocking a treasure chest??? The key is nearly 6" long and weighs about 4.5 ounces.

Circa 18th century.

Approximately 5-7/8" in length and 1-11/16" in width (across top).
