Description
This is a wonderful early (1886) ribbon for the 9th Annual New Jersey State Fireman's Association Convention in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. The purple ribbon has a great primitive horse drawn steamer graphic! The ribbon has a Newark, New Jersey manufacturer tag on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1886.
SIZE:Approximately 6-1/4" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk, gold tinsel thread, partial mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None (safety pin attachment on reverse missing, easily replaced).
