US Navy USS Sea Cat SS-399 Submarine Patch

This is a submarine patch for the United States Navy's USS Sea Cat SS-39The patch is round with a "rope" border and shows the Warner Brothers' cartoon character, Sylvester the Cat, walking on water holding a missile. The patch reads U.S.S. SEA CAT SS 399.

Circa early 1950s.

4-7/8" diameter.

Blue canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with a muslin backing.

8+ (Excellent): Patch has just about no wear and excellent original coloring.
