ARTIFACT: This is a Disney-designed submarine patch for the United States Navy's USS Sea Owl SS-405. The patch shows an owl wearing glasses, a wizard's cap and headphones running with a missile. The patch reads USS SEA OWL SS 405.

VINTAGE: Circa early 1950s.

SIZE: 5" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Tangerine-colored canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
