This is a Disney-designed submarine patch for the United States Navy's USS Sea Owl SS-40The patch shows an owl wearing glasses, a wizard's cap and headphones running with a missile. The patch reads USS SEA OWL SS 405.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1950s.
SIZE:5" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Tangerine-colored canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with muslin backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
