WWII United States Navy Submarine USS Sea Owl (SS-405) ashtray made at Portsmouth Navy Yard during the construction and building of the sub. The ashtray is heavy (made from Monel or nickel-plated brass) and engraved details read: "U.S.S. SEA OWL".
VINTAGE:Circa WWII
SIZE:Approximately 5 ½" round and 1" deep
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Monel or nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:None.
