WWII Submarine Launch Tag for USS Sea Leopard SS-483 Portsmouth Navy Yard

This is a World War II launch tag for the launching of the USS Sea Leopard (SS-483) from the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard on March 2, 194Sea Leopard ended her 28 year career with the United States Navy by transferring to Brazil.

Circa 1945.

Approximately 2-1/16 in height (excluding 3-5/8" of string) and 1-3/4" in width.

Foiled card stock with silk string.

Punched hole with string.
