This is an American-made submarine patch for the United States Navy's USS Tusk SS-42The patch shows a shark wearing headphones and tusks that cradle a missile. The patch reads USS TUSK SS 426 FRONT RUNNER.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1960s.
SIZE:5"diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton/polyester threads with a muslin backing.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): Patch has just about no wear and excellent original coloring.
