ARTIFACT: This is a Japanese-made submarine patch for the United States Navy's USS Cusk SS-348. The patch shows Neptune holding a missile and a trident and riding a shark. The patch reads CUSK SS 348.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1950s.

SIZE: 4-15/16" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.
