ARTIFACT: This stunning item is a WWI Royal Flying Corps (RFC) Sweetheart wing. It was made from taking a mess dress wing and adding royal blue enameled highlights to it. The small details of this pin is exquisite, from the crown on top to the wings, to the laurels under the "RFC."

VINTAGE: Circa WWI

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/16" x 5/8

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold filled brass with enamel

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C-type catch

MARKINGS: "RFC

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Sweetheart collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MGEZ17 LBGEX02/17

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The enamel had worn off slightly in a few places, and the catch is bent.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
